Someone in The Corner

To the one friend in the center,
I see the weight you carry—
the pace, the pressure, the spotlight that doesn’t blink.

To the one friend in the center,
From the quiet corner,
this is not an apology,
but a presence.

To the one friend in the center,
That was me, in the corner

I’ve been in the silence too.
Stories untold, thoughts looping louder than any sound.
It gets heavy sometimes.

But one thing for sure,
If ever you need a pause,
know that someone from the corner
is still here. Listening.
Although this someone in the corner never has room to be heard.
